 The Haunted House – D’Mello House   This place known as the D’Mello house is in Santemol Raia and it is one of the most haunted places in Goa.  Consequently, there is a big story as to why no one is ready to even maintain the house. Due to which the house condition is worsening day by day as the house roofs are all of the wood. There are remains fallen all over the house as the wooden roof keeps collapsing. The house consisted of many rare unique fixtures such as a spiral staircase made of metal which adds to the aesthetic beauty. There are different artifacts such spiral staircase made of metal which adds to the aesthetic beauty and a hand protruding out of the wall.  As a result, o ne of the rooms has been sealed with cement which could have a significant meaning which is unknown to date. A silent and deserted stretch of an otherwise scenic road, Igorchem bandh is situated in the PICTURESQUE   in   RAIA , behind the church of Our Lady Of Snows. Locals believe that anyone taking that route around 2 to 3 PM  runs risks of being taken over by an evil spirit. The deafening silence of the road and the mystical air around that part provides quite a perfect setting for this local legend. Every year on 6th January the feast of the three kings is celebrated over there with a great pomp. So I visited these place with my few friends and that was a great experience. I didn't found that place much haunted  might be because I visited it in the day time but from others I heard that it is a haunted place . The story I came to known that these place is called haunted  because the story is all related to the three kings . In short, they always used to fight with each other over the right to their ancestral property. While blogging about this location,we found that janki bandh in navelim is a bridge, which has witnessed many accidents over the years. But one of the worst ones was when a bus went over the culvert connecting navelim and drampur.The busload of children went off the bridge.for the mistake of bus driver a sorrowful accident occurred.
